Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the TJ Class of ’86 Alumni Association handles information submitted through this website and related external services.
Information we collect
The Contact page may collect your name, email address, optional phone number, topic, and message so association volunteers can respond. If you use an external scholarship application, event registration form, PayPal.me donation link, or Google Drive album, the information you provide is also handled by that third-party service.
How we use information
We use submitted information to answer questions, coordinate scholarship information, support event registration and sponsorship follow-up, respond to donation questions, manage media requests, and maintain association records. We do not sell personal information.
Students and scholarship applicants
Scholarship applicants may be high school seniors. Application materials are collected through an external application link when applications are open. Applicants should only submit information requested by the application, and parents or guardians may contact the association with privacy questions.
Third-party services
This website may link to third-party services including Google Forms, Google Drive, and PayPal.me. Those services have their own privacy practices and security controls. Do not enter sensitive information into an external service unless you are comfortable with that service's policies.
Storage and security
Contact messages may be stored in the website database so volunteers can review and respond. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no website or online service can guarantee perfect security.
Updates and deletion requests
To ask a privacy question, update submitted information, or request deletion of contact information stored by the association, email tjclassof1986@gmail.com. We may retain limited records when needed for association operations, event history, donation records, or legal/accounting obligations.
